Presentation Summary
This presentation takes up the increasingly popular topic of drones (or UAS, UAV) that explores several examples of professional UAS applications. Since 2009, Leptron has been on the leading edge of drone technology development and remote sensor integration used for collecting aerial data. Many consider drone data to consist of pictures and videos. Leptron is exploiting UAS technology for generating data used for aerial surveying, 3D models, volumetric measurements, and vegetation management. In addition to drone applications, we intend to answer many common questions regarding FAA regulations for commercial drone operations and the certification process. This presentation will provide real-world examples based on experience, innovation, and industry deliverables.
