SPEAKER BIO:
Dr. Mike Green has over 30 years of industry experience including 15 years developing, implementing, executing, and managing audit programs covering health, safety, security and environmental topics. He has served in a variety of roles in his career: Sampling and Data Manager, Compliance Auditing Manager, HSSE Compliance Program Manager, HSSE Manager, Analytical Laboratory Manager, Project Manager, and Research Scientist.
Dr. Green is currently a Senior Advisor at Environmental Standards, where he provides HSSE/PSM consulting and auditing for facilities and quality assurance services/auditing for clients who rely on data supplied by internal or external laboratories for compliance and/or decision making.
Dr. Green served on the Task Group and the Working Group that contributed to the development of API RP3000, “Classifying and Loading of Crude Oil into Rail Tank Cars”.
Dr. Green has a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The Ohio State University, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Green holds a CPEA (Certified Professional Environmental Auditor) with a specialty in Health & Safety.
Dr. Green’s presentation will include a discussion of issues involving sampling and testing related to crude oil logistics as well as covering aspects of API RP 3000.
