Tours of the Larimer County Solid Waste Department include visiting our Garbage Garage Education Center, recycling center, Household Hazardous Waste building, and viewing of our Transfer Station. These facilities offer an up-close view of how waste is managed and diverted in Larimer County. The Education Center displays vermicomposting, the recycling center offers a viewing platform to watch recycling in action, and the HHW building showcases one of our diversion efforts to keep materials out of the landfill.
